WEIGHT ROOM IMPROVEMENTS

The Swartz Creek Athletic Boosters is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of students who participate in the school’s athletic programs. Through school athletics, students learn discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment and respect – all of which can be integrated into everyday life and helps in their physical and emotional development.

With an approximate $60,000 annual operating budget, the Swartz Creek Athletic Boosters last year supported 1,300 high school and 1000 middle school students who participated on 68 teams in 22 programs, such as football, softball, hockey, soccer and cheerleading. Close to 50 percent of the high school student body participates in at least one athletic activity!

The mission of the Swartz Creek Athletic Boosters is to give student athletes and coaches the highest-quality, safest equipment and facilities possible to fulfill their athletic goals and dreams. This past year, with various fundraising activities and financial support from individuals and local businesses, the Swartz Creek Athletic Boosters organization was able to provide support for the girl’s softball field refurbishment and purchase softball equipment, new team chairs for the basketball, volleyball and wrestling programs, assist our cheerleading and Pom programs, purchase a start system for the swim team, video  and practice equipment for football, stat software for wrestling and football,  and equipment and Ice time for the hockey program These are just a few of the many improvements the boosters have been able to accomplish through generous donations.
