Dear Parents:

Throughout the year SCMS offers a variety of activities through our Intramural Program. We especially encourage sixth graders to get involved as the team sports offered at the Middle School pertain exclusively to the 7^th and 8^th graders.  Last year, we offered flag football, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, free throw tournament, 3 on 3 volleyball, kickball, swimming, and bowling.  Special ribbons and/or medals were awarded for the flag football, basketball tournament and free throw tournament.  To find out more information, you can check out our web site under Middle School that resembles the above picture.  To alleviate paperwork, we encourage you to fill out the attached permission slip and return to the Main Office, no later than September 15, 2008.  This way, regardless if your child decides to participate in one, all, or none of the activities, I will have their permission slip on file. Making announcements, displaying posters and flyers will be posted in the Middle School, and on our web site and continually updated so you and your child are aware of our scheduled events.  Please call 591-1773 if you have any questions or concerns or email me at schiano@swcrk.org.
