The following are a list of scholarship opportunities available to Swartz Creek High School students.  Each of the scholarships has its own requirements and deadlines.  Applications may be picked up in the counseling office in our circular file or on line if available.  You might also check the following web sites for additional scholarship opportunities:

We have a booklet entitled FUNDING YOUR EDUCATION available in the counseling office.  It is put out by the Department of Education and will help answer questions about loans, grants, scholarships, and other ways of obtaining monies for college.  If there is any other way we can assist you please don’t hesitate to make an appointment to see your individual counselor or contact us at 591-1866.

MOTT COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS Over $450,000 in scholarship funding is offered annually to MCC students.  If you are a current student or have been recently accepted to MCC you are eligible to apply to these scholarships.  Your MCC ID number is required. Eastern Michigan University Our 25th annual Presidential Scholarship Competition (PSC) will be on Saturday December 5 and Saturday December 12, 2009. This is our most lucrative scholarship event. It is open to high school seniors who have been admitted to Eastern Michigan with strong grades and strong test scores. This is their opportunity to compete for one of 16 four-year, full-ride Presidential Scholarships or one of 29 four-year, full-tuition Regents Gold scholarships. Each student who meets the qualifications and participates is guaranteed at least a Regents Scholarship (valued at $12,000 over four years).
