The little one joined our family fairly recently through adoption in China. She is now 5 and headed off to kindergarten. They are my greatest joys! Sasha 21 who is married with two (2) children, Amber 20 who has one (1) child, Toni who is 16 and is no where near having any children, and Erika 11 is my baby. I also organize and teach the districts 64 preschool children in the program. (Kids are the only ones that understand me.) | Class of 1981 | Robert (Bob) F. Pailthorpe: (November 2006) Very shortly after graduation, I left for a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy as a photojournalist (guess the yearbook and school newspaper stayed in my blood). Retired in 2001 at the rank of “Chief Petty Officer (E-7).” Served nine years of sea time aboard the aircraft carriers Intrepid, Saratoga and Forrestal. Also served with the Blue Angels. Married in 1991 to an Iowa native and have three great kids – Kerk, 12; Luke 11 and Abbey 7. Currently living on a hobby farm in Iowa raising chickens. When I’m not doing that, I’m at my “real” job as a Federal Security Supervisor at the Cedar Rapids Airport. |
| Coleen (Cooper) Arwood (July 2006): Married Randy Arwood in '84. Have lived in several places including VA, KS, Flushing, MI , and MO (where I've lived for the past 20 yrs.). I have 3 daughters: Amanda 21, Holly 19, and Sarah 15. My oldest will be getting married in August! Wow! Talk about feeling old! I am a Sr. Branch Office Administrator with Edward Jones (investments) in Springfield, MO. Prior to that, I was Asst. Branch Mgr. of a bank in Nixa, MO (where I met Kim (Evans) Campbell's in-laws!) Jayne (Smith) Glass is the only classmate I've kept in touch with and unfortunately have lost touch in the past year. Last I knew, she was living in KY. Would love to hear from anyone from our graduating class. I often wonder what has become of different ones. Hoping to make the 25th reunion and seeing some old friends. | |

| Kevin Kitson: (August 2005) Came upon the website and saw some names I haven't heard in a long time. I live in Gaylord, MI and work in Waterford, MI, only a 200 mile commute. I sure love it up there. I spent 8 years in the U.S. Army and now I am an Air Traffic Controller at the Pontiac airport (PTK). I have been married for 22 years and have 12 kids, 4 boys and 8 girls. Robert Chapman: (November 2006) I am currently married with my second Wife, living in creek as always, and I’m enjoying this wonderful life. I have two beautiful daughters age’s 21 and 19 that have moved out now, I also have 5 step children three of whom that live with us still. I have had My own business now for almost 18 years in the Wixom area, selling Fasteners and Automotive parts. I recently bought a very old Farmhouse in Swartz Creek and My wife and I have enjoyed fixing it up to our liking and décor. It was nice raising My two girls in the Swartz Creek schools, walking down the Halls still seeing some of the Very Old teachers that taught me, Wow, when are they going to retire..? Hope to see many of my friends at the 25th in 2007. |

| Barb (De Wyse) Winfrey :Married middle school sweetheart Jerry Winfrey in June of 1983. 1 son, Jake, who is currently attending Dieck Elementary. He will be going to the middle school in August of 2002. (Man are we getting old or what?) Just kidding, in my heart I feel no older than back in 82, but the body doesn't always agree. I have worked until 1991 when Jake came along, am now a stay at home Mom, with all the stuff I do at the school, I am never home! Have worked off & on since then, was "the official parking lot narc" for the high school back in 1998 or so. Was the Easter Bunny at the mall in 2001. Now I decorate cakes. I lead such an exciting life. In Sept. of 1995 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Have had cancer off & on since, mostly on. It is the traveling type 8( I enjoy everything I do, especially if in includes Jerry & Jake! When you don't know how long you have, everything is more clearer! Hope to see you at the reunion! (Sadly, Barb's fight with cancer ended on January 30, 2003. She will be greatly missed.) | |

We have 3 sons and 2 daughters. We really enjoy life in the wild west where all that PC crap doesn't exist. Rodeo, guns, hunting, fishing and camping are our way of life here. I am an Accountant for the City of Midland, MI and a part-time instructor for Baker College On-line. For fun I like to buy foreclosed homes, fix them up and sell them or rent them out. | Class of 1983 | Kim (Hosler) Couchman: (November 2008) Stayed single until I found my soulmate, Bill, married in 2001. Have 2 stepkids, ages 21 & 22 that live with us. Keep trying to push them out of the nest but haven't been successful so far.... :) Work as an insurance customer service agent in Flint. Volunteer & serve on board of local animal rescue called "Last Chance Rescue", website is lastchancerescueflint.org - check it out! Scott Austin – (March 08) Four years active duty U.S. Army as a Crypto Technician. Last duty assignment was Carlisle Barracks Pennsylvania (87) and that is when I met my wife Shawn Denise. We have been married for 19 years and have three children Spencer Douglas (15yrs old) Sierra Denise (10 yrs old) and Sophia Demi (18 Months)…..And want more! The entire family has the initials SDA. We are a big soccer family and I coach three teams. My son Spencer plays on four soccer teams and we travel all over the US (TX, NC, FL, VA, NY to name a few states) and my daughter plays on two teams. Last year Spencer made the Pennsylvania Olympic Development Team and wants to play pro soccer. Yes we like our soccer and I love to coach. We currently reside in York, PA and have been living there for 11 years. I have been working in the dot com world for years and ended up owning my own internet company in York Pennsylvania called Double Dog Communications www.ddogcom.com |

My wife Teresa and I have two wonderful sons ages 13 & 11. Our sons keep us active with sports and Church activities. I very much so enjoy outdoor activites such as fishing and hunting. | Rich Frazee: Updating my 2006 entry, I am still in Hamburg Township, however, I found it difficult to get into the fledgling Biotech Industry in the Ann Arbor area so strange as it may sound I took a job as an Applications Engineer supporting emissions systems for Research & Development in the automotive industry. It is really a great job and makes me wonder why I spent so much time in the university system. My son, Jeremy, is now 9 years old and is into swimming, baseball, and his electric guitar. | Ted Bowyer: (June 2005) I went to U-Mich Flint and got a BA in Math and Physics in 1987, then a PhD in nuclear physics from Indiana University in 1994. There I met my wife Sonya, who got her PhD the same year - we got married in 1990. After that "adventure" we went to Washington State to work at Pacific Northwest National Lab, and I worked on technology to detect nuclear explosions. Had 2 boys - Joey and Zach (now 7 and 4). my Doctor of Pharmacy in 1992 (from U of M - Go Blue!), and completing my
residency
program at the Detroit Medical Center, I
started working as a clinical pharmacy specialist at Henry Ford Hospital.
Now I am the Director of Pharmacy Care Management - Clinical Services for
Henry Ford Health System/Health Alliance Plan. I am also adjunct faculty
at both Wayne State University, College of Pharmacy and University of
Michigan, College of Pharmacy. I married my wonderful husband, Kirit
Pindolia, in 1992. We are proud parents of a 10-year old son and 6-year
old daughter who make life a total pleasure! In my free time , I enjoy
being the assistant coach for both of the kids' soccer teams (get an
absolute thrill while watching them play at all of their regular and
tournament games!), get involved in community efforts, enjoy outdoor
jogs, and hanging out with friends! Look forward to seeing everyone at the

I worked as an EMT for 15 years and in a hospital ER in Michigan for 10 years as an ER tech. I had to have major back surgery which brought my life to a screeching halt... So, I figured since I was sitting on my arse doing nothing besides recuperating I would go back to school. I have been in school full time since 2003 and I am scheduled to graduate in December of 2007 with my bachelors degree in NURSING. | |
| Keith Resseguie: (February 06) I am currently in the US Air Force (18 yrs). I am living on Beale AFB just north of Sacramento California. I married Jennifer Brunswick from Monroe Michigan in 1992. We have two children, son Samuel 8 and daughter Kendall 5. I have been stationed around the US over the past 18 years in Nebraska 3 yrs, Hawaii 3 yrs, Virginia 2 yrs, Texas 4 yrs, Florida 4 yrs and now in California until retirement. I am on a flight crew for the Global Hawk UAV system. Other than that I have graduated with a B.A. degree from Saint Leo University. I was very lucky when I lived in Florida to get to see a couple of classmates, Brett Sellers and Alan LaVigne, where we got to get together to watch some U of M football games. I have stayed in touch with a few classmates and have regular contact with Alan LaVigne, Victor Ahearne, Todd Smith, Jeff Pinkston (occasionally) and a few folks from the class of 1985. During my four-year enlistment in the Navy, I married and had a daughter, Savannah (who is now 13 years old). At the end of my enlistment in the Navy, my family and I relocated to Florida. I divorced my first husband in 1997. I remained in Florida while working for the Administrative Office of the Courts, and taking college courses for a degree in Criminal Justice. I relocated to Michigan in 2001. I am currently a Crime Victim Advocate for the Prosecuting Attorney in Van Buren County. flew for the Air Force for 10 years after graduating, I was a Tail
Gunner on B-52 bombers during the Gulf War and the Cold war, about 5
years. Then I Flew Helicopters for the last 5 years in Washington
D.C., I flew everyone under the President, and Vice President. I got
out to fight for custody of my two daughters, Ashlee and Alyssa. I
currently have custody of Ashlee and she will graduate from Swartz
Creek in 2008. I am currently a Conductor for Grand Trunk Western
Railroad (Canadian National Railroad) in Flint. I'm also the Vice
Local Chairman and President of the Unions local Chapter at Flint.
I'm a member of the Swartz Creek VFW Hall also. I built a house in

Sheryl (Schultz) Forbes
- As of January 2007, I am currently working at GM Powertrain as a
Financial Analyst and living in Ortonville (north of Clarkston),
Michigan. I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 12 years...he is
an engineer at GM in Warren. We have a 3 1/2 year old son, Nicholas and
another child on the way in May. We also have 2 Golden Retrievers,
Ginger (5 years) and Honey (1 year). Since they are such attention
hounds, they almost seem like children...Ha! Ha! Ha! I attended U of M -
Flint for a couple of years after graduation and then transferred to
Michigan Tech where I received a degree in Engineering in May of 1992.
Went to work for GM immediately after that and met my husband that fall
after college graduation through Matchmaker International...yes, it
works! I went on to get an MBA in 1997 through U of M-Flint and that's
when I switched from engineering to finance. I keep in touch and get
together frequently with Martha (Leman) Duberville and Louise (Wang)
Weldon and also keep in touch with Beth (Shumaker) Kachel. I am VERY much looking forward to our 20 year reunion coming up this year....where has the time gone? |

graduated from Michigan State Univ. in '92 with a degree in
Communications. I worked for the American Red Cross in Lansing for a
few years as a Regional Representative. I met my husband, Rob
(Carman Grad), at MSU. After getting married, we moved to a suburb
of Chicago. I went back to school to get my Master of Arts Degree in
Teaching at National-Louis University and taught both 2nd and 3rd
grades for a few years. I am currently staying at home with our two

| Stephanie Price (Agachinsky) (October 2006) Currently living in Cordova, TN. I have been married to my husband Tim for 14 years. We have three wonderful sons ages 4, 2, and 1. After graduation I attended college in Henderson, Tennessee where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 1991. The following year I completed my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Upon graduation my husband and I moved to Memphis where I taught for 10 years. I quit teaching full time when our first son was born. I have been teaching part time pre-school for the last 4 years. | Renee’ (Gardner ) Harvey: (September 2006) I am currently living in Flint and attending Davenport University (Nursing) I have been married to a wonderful guy for 10 years. Jim is a computer technician and is self employed, so if you are having a problem his rates are reasonable. I have been working in the medical field for close to 10 years, as a nursing assistant, home health aide, and more recently a medical receptionist for Community Podiatry Group. I’ve left that position so that I may take nursing classes and get my bachelor degree in nursing. We have a very handsome son. Aaron is 17, he is a senior at Carman Ainsworth, and a private in the Army National Guard. He wants to go into politics and change the country’s laws. I wish I knew what I wanted to do at his age. Anyways, just wanted to say hello to everyone, and hope to hear about the reunion soon. | |

(Webster) February 2006: Married David Tice (class of '88). Hello
everyone. We live in Indiana, have two wonderful daughters; Jessica who
is 13 and Danielle who is 8. We are also foster parents to a 1yr old, 7yr
old, and 12 yr old....all girls. I manage an apartment building in
Lansing, IL and David is a Sales rep for Vandenberg Bulb. In our spare
time from all the kids (ha ha like there is so much of it) we are
paranormal investigators.

you read that right. ha! ha! ha! We have a very busy and fun life. Drop

Amy (Walker) Wykes February 2006: After graduating I worked as a legal secretary (my co-op job) for 3 years before leaving that and attending Western Michigan University. I am now an 8th grade Language Arts teacher at Flushing Middle School, where we just moved into a brand new, completely decked out building. I earned a Master’s of Liberal Studies—American Culture degree from the University of Michigan in December 2005, bringing to a close my gravy train on season tickets in the student section for Michigan football. Watching the games on tv just won’t be the same! My husband Andrew and I have one son, William, who is 2 ½ . It frightens me to see that other graduates my age have teenagers—Martha Lehman with a 19 year old!? AAhhhh! We’re much too young for teenagers, aren’t we? We’re hoping William has a brother or sister within this next year. By then, maybe others will be grandparents. |

University of Michigan- Flint and became a third grade teacher for
Morrish Elementary in Swartz Creek. I have three beautiful children.
Kristin - 19, who attends Eastern Michigan University; Kyle- 16, is a
junior at Powers Catholic High School; and Jacob - 10, who attends
Morrish Elementary and is in fifth grade. My husband, of 15 years,
and I have currently moved back into the district and are enjoying
being a part of the community. I am currently working on my Masters
for Education and will graduate with my MA in the spring of 2006!

| Lancer Gilliam: (January 2008) I am currently in the US Air Force (19yrs). I could retire this year but most likely will stick it out for a couple more years. I live in Valdosta Georgia about 3 miles from Moody Air Force Base where I am currently stationed. In 1999 I married Melissa Osantowski of Cass City Michigan. We have two children, son Alexander 6 and daughter Melanie 4. | Bob Comeau: (November 2007) For the last seven years I have been working for General Motors in the Great Lakes Technology Center here in Flint. Before that I did steel sales in Detroit, and was a part-time DJ at CK105 in Flint. My wife, Misty, is a 2nd grade teacher at Morrish elementary in Swartz Creek. Our daughter, Emma, is beautiful like her mother and is almost two, and a baby boy is due any day now!!! I also have to mention my two cats, Joey and Phoebe. | Robert Fredenburgh (March 2007) I have been married to an absolutely spectacular woman for almost 2 years. I was previously married to the wicked witch of the West for 5 years. I was employed with the Gift of Life, Transplantation Society of Michigan in Ann Arbor until I was offered a position with the Transplant Resource Center of Maryland in Baltimore July 2001. I managed the Tissue Recovery Services division from 2001 - 2005 where I trained surgical staff to surgically recover/procure tissues and organs for transplant in addition to the other responsibilities that encompassed running the department. I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in September 2005 after accepting a position with a publically traded medical device company. I manage the Physician Training Lab where we train physicians from all over the world on how to surgically deploy the products our company manufactures. I have had the opportunity to travel extensively for pleasure visiting such places as France, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Cyprus, Egypt, Bulgaria, Russia (14 times), Turkey, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. My wife and I will be traveling to Rome this summer. We have no children as we both decided to wait until I finish my Masters degree. I will be starting an Executive MBA at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management this autumn. We do have, however, 2 cats and a miniature wiener dog (black and tan long hair), Fritz. Christy Standley (Wheeler) November 2007 - I have recently married 1st time for just a little over two years to a wonderful man Michael Standley II (class of 1993) that I have been with for 13 year and I have a 14 year old daughter Kaylea. I have stayed in Swartz Creek area and at this time my daughter is a student at Swartz Creek High School. I am an insurance agent with a local company in Flint. We spend a lot of the summer drag racing at a track in Stanton, Michigan. Our winter months are spent taking the car apart and making sure that everything is still in working order for the next season. I have an update. On December 24, 2006 I gave birth to my second child. We now have two girls. Amelia is now 10 months old and can we all say HEY AM I CRAZY…… She is a joy but starting over is a big change in life. Hope to see you all at the reunion. |
