7563 MARKETING CO-OP RELATED 12 1.0 *Approval of coordinator
This class is open only for seniors working in a approved co-op job. The students will work on activities and projects that relate to their jobs and study advanced marketing methods. Movies, guest speakers, and field trips supplement the text and workbook. See coordinators in the spring to help in job placement. and career pathway matching. Workplace safety training human relations and job kills are covered in order to help the student become a successful employee. Marketing jobs need to match the Career Pathways identified in the business, management, marketing & Technology, Human services, and Arts and Communications clusters.
7573 MARKETING CO-OP JOB 12 0.5-2.0 *Approval of coordinator
Co-op offers the students an opportunity to receive high school credit for work experience. The job is considered a class, and the employer is the on-the-job teacher. Students can receive assistance finding a job through the co-op office or can continue working at an approved workstation. The student will receive a grade and credit based on work performance. and work related assignments. Students must also be enrolled in course 7563-Marketing Co-Op related. Coordinator will assist with job placement for students not currently working.
7203 SERVICE/TRADE CO-OP RELATED 12 1.0 *Approval of coordinator
This course is available to seniors working in an approved co-op job in any of the following career pathways: Human Services, Arts & Communications, Engineering/Manufacturing & Industrial Technology or Natural Resources & Agriscience. The class is designed to coordinate with and enhance the student's co-op job experience. Workplace safety training, human relations and job skills are covered in order to help the student to become successful employee. See a coordinator in the spring to help in job placement.
7213 SERVICE/TRADE CO-OP JOB 12 0.5-2.0 *Approval of coordinator
This program offers students the opportunity to receive high school credit for real life work experience. This course is available to seniors who are working in an approved co-op job in any of the following career pathways: Human Services, Arts & Communications, Engineering/Manufacturing & Industrial Technology or Natural Resources & Agriscience. The student will receive a grade based on work performance on the job, completion of related assignments, and compliance with the co-op rules. The job is considered a class, and the employer is the on-the-job teacher. Students must also be enrolled in the Service Co-op related class,#7203 or a Skill Related class. Coordinator will assist with job placement for students not currently working.
7433 OFFICE CO-OP RELATED 12 1.0 *Approval of coordinator
This course is available to seniors working in a approved co-op office job in the Business, Management, Marketing & Technology or Health Sciences career pathways. The class is designed to coordinate with and enhance the students co-op job experience. Skills that will help the student succeed in an office job will be covered such as: computer use, telephone use, filing, grooming, human relations, career planning, workplace safety training and much more.
