GREETINGS PARENTS

DETAILS ABOUT MS. PETTIT AND THIS WEBSITE:

I have a school webpage that I update regularly.  www.swartzcreek.org/cpettit     I post schedules and lesson plans on this webpage and occasionally documents that have been passed out in class or presentations that I have given.  I teach a 0 hour AP Biology class before school, so this means that I am not available to help others students before school.  Even though my work day ends after 5th hour (1:30 p.m.) I often stay later to be available for students after school.  I encourage students to come see me whenever they have questions about their grades, need to make up a lab/test, or need additional tutoring.

This is my 15th year teaching at Swartz Creek.  Outside of school I am involved with a youth outreach program called Young Life, and I am also the teacher advisor for the class of 2011.  I enjoy being a positive role model for students. I go to many sporting events as well as music and drama programs to both support and cheer on my students.

Lesson Plans for physical science classes are on this website. Absent students should look here to know what topics were taught in class.

Check your child's grade and attendance on PARENT WEB

Grades are updated weekly.

BELOW IS A VIDEO I TAPED IN MAY 2009.  The question asked, "What message would you give to high school students?"

Click on Juan Williams below to hear his response to the question.
