Hello! I am Mrs.
Melville. I have been teaching for thirteen years, and
this will be my fourteenth. Once upon a time I attended
the
University of Michigan-Flint and earned my Bachelor's Degree in
Teaching. The minute I graduated I was hired in Flint,
where I was a kindergarten teacher. Later, I transferred
to Swartz Creek Schools. I have worn several hats here in
the Creek. I began my career here as a "Writing and
Technology" Teacher where I stayed for three years. During those
years, I worked at Elms, Gaines and Dieck. Next I
transferred into a fifth grade classroom at Elms Elementary and
stayed there
three years. After that, I transferred to my current
building which is Gaines. I taught fifth grade here for
three years. Now I am currently teaching fourth grade.
This will be my fifth year in this position.
Over these years I have
continued my own education. I attended Oakland University
where I earned my Master's Degree in Teaching. Now I am
attending Central Michigan University and am currently taking
more graduate classes. I learned how to make this website
during one such class. Obviously, I enjoy the school
environment! J
