Facility Usage Requests

Procedures and Fees Governing Facility Use
Within the Swartz Creek Community School District

Person or group wishing to use any Swartz Creek School facility must fill out a BUILDING SPECIFIC application. You can submit on online or print out the PRINTABLE FORM below and turn in to the building secretary


If you prefer to submit your request online, please complete the online form below for the specific building and then click SUBMIT.  If you do not click on SUBMIT your form has not been sent.


 Must allow ten business days for processing.

Application form must be signed by the principal of the building requested.  If requesting Middle or High School fields, the Middle or High School gym, the application must go from the building principal to the athletic director’s office for approval. 

Form is then sent to the community education office for final approval, with the exception of any high school events, which will all be scheduled by the athletic director’s office.  Information is entered into Site Trak, our networked scheduling program.

Permit is printed and sent to person requesting facility usage.  If payment is owed, a permit will not be sent until payment is received.  Please see below for a schedule of fees.  You may call the community education office at 591-4388 and pay with a Visa or Mastercard once the request is approved or attach a check to the application form when submitted.  In the event the request is not approved, your check will be returned. 

Permit must be present with the group at the time of facility usage.  Building supervisors, custodians, and other school personnel may request to see a group’s permit prior to allowing the group entry to our facilities.

Operational Fees and Rental Fees



$15 per hour for elementary gyms (excluding Gaines);

$20 per hour for Middle School, Mary Crapo and Gaines gyms;

$25 per hour for High School gym

$35 per hour for elementary gyms (excluding Gaines); $40 per hour for Middle School and Gaines gyms; $50 per hour for High School gym  

Cafeterias / multi-purpose rooms (not gyms) / media centers

Pool rental fees

All groups must pay actual cost of lifeguards and other supervision.  In addition, group II users will be charged $25 per hour and group III users, $50 per hour.

No custodial fees are charged during normal working hours.  Actual cost of custodian is charged if outside of working hours.  District kitchen personnel must be hired and paid actual cost in order to use the kitchen.
