As March is Reading Month comes to a close this week, we are excited to celebrate our readers through the Bikes for Books program!
The Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge has once again partnered with our Swartz Creek elementary schools to support this amazing opportunity for students.
This program encourages students to:
✨ Read as many books as they can
✨ Strengthen reading comprehension and writing skills
✨ Submit short summaries to show their learning
✨ Earn entries into a drawing for bikes, scooters, and helmets
The more books students read and reflect on, the more chances they have to win!
We are so grateful for the continued generosity and partnership of the Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge. Together, we are creating readers, leaders, and lifelong learners! ❤️

Good morning Dieck Families,
We appreciate your continued partnership in helping our arrival and dismissal routines run smoothly and safely for all students. We want to share a quick reminder about arrival and dismissal expectations, as student safety is always our top priority.
Recently, we have observed some families bypassing the drop-off line, parking near the bus area, and walking students between cars and buses to reach the sidewalk. This creates a serious safety concern, especially when visibility is limited due to darkness or inclement weather. Students and adults may be difficult to see, increasing the risk during a busy arrival and dismissal times.
To help keep everyone safe, please:
Use the designated parent drop-off and pick up line
Avoid parking or walking students through bus zones or traffic lanes
Follow all arrival and dismissal procedures outlined here:
👉 Arrival and Dismissal Expectations Map
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us ensure a safe, predictable arrival for all Dieck Dragons. We truly appreciate your support and partnership.
Warm regards,
Heather Briggs
Principal, Dieck Elementary
