Title I Program (2024-2025)

Program Overview

Title I funding offers support services to students who need extra time and instruction to master grade-level curriculum based on district assessments.  Title I services may be short-term or long-term, depending on the needs of each student. We are pleased to offer these services to help our students succeed. For the 2024-25 school year, the following schools have been designated as Title I schools:

Lower Elementary:

  • Morrish & Syring Elementary

Upper Elementary:

  • Dieck & Elms Road Elementary

Secondary

  • Swartz Creek Virtual Learning Center

Parent Meetings

Our schools host an annual parent meeting to allow parents to learn about and provide input on the Title I program at our designated schools. This meeting is typically announced at the start of each school year and through various sources to ensure parents receive the message and are encouraged to attend.

Please review the designated slide presentations (available in the right column) to see what key information was provided during the Title I Parent Meetings. Contact your student's building principal if you have questions regarding the program content.

Parent Compacts & Involvement Plans

Every parent of a student who receives Title I funded services is to be provided a Parent-Student Compact that describes what each school, parent, and student will do to share responsibility for student achievement. Student success depends on this partnership between the home and the school. Please access your student’s school compact and parent involvement plan by clicking on the desired links to the right side of this page.
